personality:
Dahlia, above all, is called a hypocritical poser by her lovely highschool peers. The thing is, her views are constantly changing, whether it be from the television programs influencing her to act different, to the hardcore head banging music causing her to a fxcking hater. As a deep person, she’s undecided. She still finds herself searching to know the extent of her opinions- people cannot stand this about her, for one week she will hate this person then the next they’ll be friends. It’s rather hard to explain, but it’s Dolly we’re talking about. She thinks she’s simple when she’s really complicated. Nonetheless, the point is Dolly has a very malleable, open mind. She hardly ever shuts, limits, or excludes anything. She compares herself a lot to other people, which is where her huge jealousy attribute takes its toll.
Let's face it - the girl can easily go on and on about nothing at all. She takes pleasure in arguing about small things, or arguing about big things, too. Don't get me wrong. She doesn't just start an argument because she wants trouble, or anything. She hates drama, so her arguments are usually quite playful. However, if somebody says something she thinks is flat out wrong, she's not afraid to tell them. This is how she's found herself into detention numerous times. Sometimes, she'll accidently start an argument with the teacher. She hates the smartass kids who think they're always right when talking to a teacher, but if the teacher tries to bring their views about religion, abortion, or other important topics into the classroom, she's not afraid to speak up about how she feels.
Dolly is one of those people that is very patient. She doesn’t like rushing things and figures when something happens, something happens. She’s all for the whole thing if what happens happens, don’t live to regret it type deal. But unlike a lot of people she doesn’t like pushing things on people. She is very relaxed and if she wants to know something about a person she will wait until she knows that they are ready to talk. She doesn’t like pushing things on them, she figures it just gets people uncomfortable and its better to wait then to have them hating your guts later. She learned to be patient through her brother actually, he always was very quiet and never quite outspoken or anything so when she wanted to know what’s wrong she would literally wait for days at a time till he would eventually come and talk to her. She figures if she can do that for one person why not wait till the trust is there for another person. If you don’t trust a person you are not about to go blurt out your life story or anything. Even she has to trust someone before she goes and gives a whole bunch of personal stuff out about herself to someone else.
Okay so Dolly likes to talk a lot, she's not exactly nice though. She could be, unless if you were annoying. 'Tis true. She has a fun family, and at times too much is just too much. So Dahlia will simply get annoyed and say somthing mean. It's blunt and unexpected. It normally happens when you know her well.
Dolly really goes and does things out of the blue and will surprise a lot of people. Dolly hates doing the whole kissing on the cheek thing for obvious reasons. She hates the whole contact thing quite a bit but then sometimes randomly she will just hug you or kiss you on the cheek and it sometimes actually freaks people out. Also she isn’t into the whole party scene or whatever so people always seem to think something’s wrong with her if she does show up at a party or something. She will just have random urges like trying to boil a watermelon just to see what would happen or something, and she goes right ahead and does them. It gets her into a lot of trouble at times actually and really her spontaneous ways are actually a bit dangerous at times.
Dolly has this creative way with her lifestyle. She doesn’t like just looking normal, or doing normal things, even if she wears something completely normal you wouldn’t call it that once she adds something else to her outfit as it changes the whole look quite easily. She has an eye for the things that are different, and she likes using different ideas and techniques that she finds in her day to day basis, just like with the way she talks, she has this crazy imagination and it comes out through how she speaks to others. This is probably why she likes to draw so much, and write lyrics and stuff like hat. Because of the creative skill that she has drawing comes easy to her, and she absolutely adores the abstract drawing, the drawings that link pieces of your life together, things like that. She likes looking at the world in a more of a different perspective than most people. She likes thinking that life is really just some sort of drawing that someone is making and you are just living in that drawing kind of thing. Now she’s just waiting for the people to start jumping out of books, then life would really get interesting.

history:
June 8, 1990 Dahlia was born in the trunk of her mother’s van at specifically midnight, on their way to the hospital (late, I might add, because of the street traffic on scenic route sixteen that dad stupidly drove down). They planned on this baby, but as mom was a perfectionist, she didn’t plan on having her in a car. They were featured on their local news for Kent, Texas never ever had a spec going on in their everybody-knows-everybody town. The couple pulled over on the side of the road, borrowed the god-knows-how-old shag van from Elder Walter’s farm and there little Dahlia was delivered, a small, covered in blood and guts baby in the arms of her mother. If only that’d last forever, right? Eventually the three moved to more populated place, San Antonio. Dad held up a decent job while mom tended to the chores of their confined, two story apartment, playing a Pink Floyd cd much too loud for Dolly’s intellectual benefit.
Everything went well for them. By the time they moved to San Antonio, Doly was already starting school. Marie and John were married, having the occasional financial problems/arguments, but nonetheless, Dahlia was raised in a nurturing environment. Some might ask how it went wrong, referring to her pricey drug habits. It began in middle school. Because they lived in the beaten up part of town, where the alleyways were not safe at night, where a new tag was written over the fences each morning, you can see how things went wrong. They offered, Dahlia took it. Full on. Why you ask? She was curious. Of course she was taught they were bad for you, but again, she kept her mind wide open. Plus she couldn’t stand peer pressure. She is apt to please. When her parents found about this, during her seventh grade year, she was switched to a private school. This didn’t help. She was addicted and would now do anything to get it.
By the slacking of her grades and simply the look on her face after she ‘visited a study buddy’ her parents knew their methods weren’t working. Access to drugs was worst in the summer. She got by enough to slip through summer school, that’s how much she wanted them. So her parents sent her to Swizerland. Where she learned to play guitar. And ended up knowing how to work them. So what could she do with that?
