Isabella wandered quietly by herself through the stream of people trickling throughout the mall. She didnt really need anything but she loved to people watch... and sometimes she found something she couldnt live without... But not today. Not yet, anyways. She was sitting on a bench by herself, watching the people who passed by. Usually they avoided eye contact, except for the little old lady who had smiled widely at Izzy before wandering off. In Izzy's lap was her most prized possession: her camera. Occasionally if she was sure someone wasnt paying attention she would snap a picture of a particularly interesting person. The great thing was she was in front of a fountain... so if someone noticed, she could always pretend to be taking photos of the water or something. She had it all worked out.
Isabella was taking a break for a day just to relax and be by herself. Sometimes this tactic made her lonely but she dealt with it. She was pretty used to it. She was a lonely person. But being surrounded by people was a little bit better. If she had to live on her own she'd never survive... but as long as there were people around her, she was okay. She leaned back against the bench and sighed, scratching at in invisable spot on her grey skinnies. On her torso she wore a red and black striped tank that peeked out from beneath her black hoodie. She lifted her hazel gaze again and casually scanned the faces of people around her. This was her version of relaxing.

Andy woke up that day deciding he wanted to go to the mall. Maybe just hang out, and buy some new clothes. Maybe he would actually see a cutie that woud be interested. He was single, and he really hated it. He had been looking for someone for a while. But just hasn't found the right one yet. And he wasnt going to mess around with people that wouldn't appritiate him, or to just fool around with him and leave.
Andy walked through the crowd's of people in the mall. He really didn't come here for anything other than a new pair of skinny jeans, and maybe to find a friend. Or find someone new of interest. He made his way to Hot Topic and bought a new pair of black skinny jeans.
Once he was done looking around in the store he walked around. He hadn't seen anyone he knew yet, he at least figured he would have seen someone he knew. But there was no one. He decided to go to a pop machine and get an energy drink - even though he was already hyper enough and didn't need one. He was always hyper. He was also the type of person who usually had a smile on his face, and was nice to everyone.
Once he had his energy drink, he decided to go find somewhere to sit. He didn't want to sit in the food court because it was always way to loud and crowded, and he hated being in big crowd's without someone he knew.
He decided to sit by the fountain, so he began to walk over. And once he was over closer to the fountain he noticed a girl sitting by herself, with a camera in her lap. he didn't know who she was at all, but decided he wouldn't mind finding out. He walked pass her, sitting at the bench beside hers. He sat in the middle of it so he wasn't too close to her, but not to far from her.
He wanted to talk to her. But he hated starting conversations with people he didn't know - pretty girl or not. He just couldnt do it, and if he ever did, people lost interest and said they had to go. It wasn't his fault, he just couldn't do it.

Izzy's eyes casually scanned the people who crossed her path, not really that interested. Then suddenly she did a double take. She hated those. She felt like a big gaping fish whenever she did and always wondered if someone was watching her and laughing behind her back. Either way, she could've sworn she knew that guy and as she casually tilted her head to glance at him again, she was certain she did. He was Andy Sixx, duh. She didn't forget the interesting names... She couldn't name a lot of the people on the tour but she knew faces. Those were easier...
Glancing over at Andy again, she wondered if he knew she was on the tour too, and wondered if he knew how ironic it was that he should sit on that bench, right next to her, oblivious. Isabella had a brief inner-battle with herself as she chewed her lip, wondering if she should say something. She always told herself she wanted to change, to be a little more outgoing and now was her chance. He obviously didn't recognize her so might as well say something right?
She looked over at him again, for real this time, so he would notice her. Izzy cleared her throat quietly and spoke up, hoping he'd hear her over the ruccus of the fountain and the people around them "You're um... Andy right?" she asked awkwardly. "From the festival? I'm... I'm a photographer for uh... Sighted South" Okay, not the best with words but it was the best she could do. She really needed to work on the socializing skills...

As Andy made his way over to the benches and he noticed the girl sitting by herself, he watched her as she watched him walk by her. He wanted to start up a conversation but he was never too good at doing that. He felt kind of dumb waiting for her to talk. But what was he going to do? Its not really all his fault that he doesn't know how to talk to people that he barely knew.
Andy was pretty sure she was on the tour. But wasn't exactly positive that she was. He didn't remember seeing her play and instrument for the bands. But maybe she did. Or maybe she was a photographer since she had a camera with her. But maybe not. He just hoped she would start up a conversation with her, so he wouldn't have to. Because he really wanted to know her, she was gorgeous, and wouldn't mind getting to know her.
He watched her as she looked over at him full on this time. "You're um... Andy right?" - - - "From the festival? I'm... I'm a photographer for uh... Sighted South" she seemed a bit nervous. Maybe he could get her not too be so nervous. He moved closer to her on the bench so he could hear her quiet voice better.
"Yeah im Andy." he said, smiling. "Andy yeah i am in the festival... i play lead guitar for Across The Spoiled Sea." he said, a light smile on his face. "I thought i have seen you somewhere, and i figured you were a photographer cause you have that camera." he said, taking a sip of his energy drink and sitting it beside him and his bag on the bench. "So whats your name beautiful?" he asked her, looking her over but not obvious enough so she would exactly notice.

Her pale cheeks blushed a little when he called her beautiful. If she was having trouble speaking before it was nothing compared to now. She tried to ignore it though as she sheepishly replied "Um... Izzy" she said awkwardly, shifting and looking down at her camera. She glanced at the can he set down and recognized the popular energy drink. Energy drinks werent really her thing but she didnt really have any experience with them... She'd just tasted one once and had been pretty hyper and it had scarred her for life pretty much.
"So... uh... are you enjoying the festival?" she asked to try and start conversation. Izzy really liked the festival. She was surrounded by music and people that she didn't necessarily have to talk to. So it wasnt that awkward. She wasn't part of a band so she didn't have to humiliate herself and go on stage but she could hear some of her favorite music pretty much every day. So it was cool... and nobody had to know her, she just kind of blended in...

When he called her beautiful, he saw her blush. Did he make her uncomfortable? He didn't mean to if so. She seemed like she would be the type to not be so shy, but she really was, like intesely shy.
"Um... Izzy" she told him, she looked away from him and down to her camera. Maybe he shouldn't have came over to sit beside her. He regreted it if she was going to be shy. He didn't mean to make her feel akward around him.
"So... uh... are you enjoying the festival?" she asked him, starting up a conversation. "Its okay... Sometimes i get stressed out and hate it. But most of the time i like it." he said, chuckling. "How about you? You enjoy taking pictures and the festival?" he asked her, looking over to her.
Maybe he should just leave her go? Maybe get up and just say he had somewhere to be. But he really didn't want to leave. She was a pretty girl but she was really shy. And Andy was loud and outgoing and didn't give a shit. He was never shy, only when it came to thinking of something to talk about with a new person.

Izzy was kind of vaguely wondering what his excuse would be. Everyone had their excuses to use when they wanted to get away. She glanced at him and wondered if she was just being paranoid about that doubtful look in his eyes. She'd heard pretty much all of them. I have laundry that needs done, gotta go meet somebody, in the middle of writing a song... all of it. Izzy had her fair share of excuses too but usually she never had to use them... Her shyness just always kind of made things awkward and she hated it. But she couldn't help who it was. It just bothered her that people didnt ever stick around and give her a chance. She was really hoping he wasn't one of those people... She could warm up, really... Just the first conversation was always a little difficult... if he could just hang in there... Suddenly she realized he was asking her a question and she nodded, quickly scanning her brain for something interesting to say and ended up kind of just blurting out an answer.
"Yeah, its really fun, taking pictures..." she paused, trying to figure out what she could add to that. "I dont like, um... being the center of attention or anything so... uh, with... with photography I get to kind of hide from all that and... I capture moments you might not ever see again which is really cool, in my opinion... Nobody really... notices me either so I get good candids in the weirdest places..." Okay now she was rambling because she was worried he would get up and give her an excuse and leave. Why would she care if he left? Everybody else did eventually... That was a good question and Izzy was not willing to admit that she found Andy attractive. He was in a band, he wouldn't be interested in her. He could have any girl he wanted...
