As Katherine approached the door of the Sighted South caravan, her heart seemed to pound in her chest, heavily, as she dragged her luggage behind her. From the looks of it, her bandmates were out, or sleeping. She hoped they were out for the moment - perhaps, she wouldn't need to be worried... maybe they never even returned to find their notes, or her and Chill and their things gone. Chill was just dropped off by the people who were in charge of the courtesy sector of the airline; he stood behind her, awaiting her next move.
She grabbed her key and took a deep breath, unlocking the door and stepping inside, pulling the beanie off of her head, fixing her hair, and putting her hood up. She lightly cooed to Chill, inviting him in. She brought in all of her things, and shut the door behind her, quietly. She looked on the counter and saw all of her notes - none of them were touched, as far as she could see. She bit her lip and grabbed them all, stuffing them in her pocket to dispose of later.
Seeing as the caravan was seemingly vacant, Katherine began to take her totes, bags, and whatnot back to her room in the caravan. When she came back out into the kitchen area, she turned on the portable CD player and put in some mixes, made for her by... well, she couldn't even remember who made them. Either way, it was audible addiction flowing from the puny speakers, giving them something to feel fruitful about. If only they had a system in that damned caravan...
Katherine looked down to Chill, who now laid on her cot, watching her intentively. "Some help you are!" Katherine laughed lightly, shaking her head at Chill. She sat beside him, admiring all of the bags and cases before her that she'd have to unpack. "What a mess."

Caravans were awfully quiet tonight. Katy felt as if no one was around anymore. They were all gone, leaving her behind. Just like Katherine, wasn't she her best friend? She couldn't let Milo take her away; she simply wouldn't survive. Anyways, they had left, to party their hearts out. Taking whatever they could, while she was here, holding onto nothing. At least, nothing was something. She was no longer someone who had fun, pulled pranks, or partied. Katarina Peterson was someone who had no heart.
Getting up, she needed the sink, as she looked up, staring at her reflection. Staring back at her, was no longer a familliar face. One that was unknown and foreign. Her genuine cheery smile was now replaced by a frown. This face belonged to a woman who was hurting and dying inside. As she turned the tap on, the locks of the door sprang up. Katarina turned around and stared at the familiar stranger. Annoyed to see the beautiful face of her so-called-best-friend. Ignoring her, Katy flipped off of Kath's mix and turned on the radio. "Here's a new song by Euphoria's Schedule Nurse. They are still playing, so you can still win tickets at midnight." She was not going to let some c-list DJ ruin her. Walking closer, she reached for the switch. Suddenly, the bass intro started. Locky. Her heart swelled, collapsing down. Tears streamed down her porcelain face. It was so unfair, that he could control. And it was just a bass intro.

Katherine sat on her bed, petting Chill, who was having a bit of trouble from calming down from the ride home and sighing at the sight of all of the things that she would have to unpack, put away, organize – gah, the list was never-ending. But, hopefully, with the help of the music coming from the mixtape and with the fact that she’d have to get everything back to normal before everyone saw all of the packed bags, she would find the inspiration to get the jobs done. As far as Katherine knew, no one was around, or they were completely knocked out not to have heard her and Chill clamor in with such feeling. She was lucky, as it was that no one had found her leaving notes to him or her; so, she was quite thankful.
As she contemplated the possibilities of what could have happened, she heard her mixtape suddenly die out, and the sounds of the radio replace it. Katherine furrowed her brow at first, a bit peeved that the console would flip on its own like that, but then it hit her – the console didn’t – but, people could. Someone could switch them out. Katherine froze, her hand on Chill’s head. Chill looked up at Katherine, curious to her reaction. His tongue lulled from his mouth, happily, oblivious to the real tension of it all. As far as he was concerned, they were home, and that’s all that mattered. Katherine then slowly shook her head, bringing her finger to her lips to warn the dog to be quiet. Chill turned his head to one side, and then got up, going to peek through the crack in the door. Katherine’s eyes widened, trying to think of a way to silently tell Chill to get away from the door. He would blow their cover – it all depended on who was out there, messing with the radio. If it was one of the guys, Chill would go nuts, and they were busted. If it were one of the girls, there was a better chance of Chill staying put.
As Katherine watched the dog stick his head out the door, she saw his ears prick, and his tail waver a bit. It was a girl – thank god. Katherine sighed, putting her head in her hands and then getting up, holding Chill back from going out the door. She called his name quietly, getting his attention. “ Who’s out there, kid, hm? ” Chill growled, anxiously, at Katherine. “Who is it?” Chill growled once again, holding back a full reply, licking his chops; he was obviously preturbed by this game of who’s who. Katherine furrowed her brow, biting her lip as she got up and slowly opened the door.
It was Katarina. Katherine sighed a bit, only slightly relieved. She slowly walked out of the room, closing the door behind her. Chill waited impatiently by her side, wanting to get a good look at who he was spying on from the door. As Katherine made her way into plain sights for Katarina, Katarina seemed to give her an annoyed look. Katherine raised her brow to this, watching her actions as she fiddled with the radio. Suddenly, something about Scheduled Nurse came over the speakers, and one of their songs began to play; Locky obviously leading off with a bass intro. Katarina began to break down in massive tears; her feet seemingly collapsing beneath her. Katherine gasped, her eyes widened. Chill barked and looked up to Katherine.
Katherine made her way over to where Katarina was, kneeling down to her, biting her lip. “K-katy, what’s wrong?” That was all Katherine could manage as Chill moved in on the two, sniffing the air as he sensed Katarina’s sadness.
