Walking slowly to the chair she had come to know as her own Emery felt rather comfortable. She had been here about a week and had done nothing job-wise. So far she learned what her favorite coffee and muffin were and where in Central Park was the best for photography. She hadn't even met her band yet sad as it was she didn't mind so much.
Emery took her seat hooked her ankles together and opened her laptop. SHe took it everywhere now, she almost felt like one of those weird guys who promise they are writing a ground breaking novel while sitting at the coffee shop. But for Emery her laptop was basically used for organizing her pictures. Sadly she was a photo-nerd through and through.
She took a quick look to her screen which dsplayed an aray of resized pictures creating a collage of unfinsihed work. Lately she had been a bit scatter brained about her work, on a typical day everything would be done to perfection Emery wouldn't have it any other way. But being in the city made her forget things and loose track of time, she was sure it was just the shock of being here. She had to start focusing she couldn't loose focus and be steryotyped as the immature-18-year-old.
Only when she took a sip of warm coffee did she remeber her reason for coming today. She was coming to meet Alejandra finally. She was rather excited, she loved that she was meeting people, probably more excited if she met the people she was ment to work for but then she might have to actually work.

Alejandra walked down the street en route to Starbucks. She was dressed in jeans and a brick colored bohemian-style baby doll. Slung over her shoulder was her usual khaki tote bag that she always had with her. She was on her way to meet Emery Asher. The two girls had arranged to meet in person.
They had only been exchanging instant messages for the past week and decided they should finally meet each other in person. Ali had come to know this Starbuck's quite well since it was so close to the festival grounds. It was quite convenient that it was within walking distance.
Lucky for she had not encountered the shady guy that was eying her the night she was sipping coffee and talking to Remy via instant messaging. As amusing as the situation was, she was not prepared to get raped by some sketchy and creepy hoodlum.
Ali opened the glass metal framed door to the café and walked. Emery told her to look for a petite blonde mostly like sitting down with her laptop open in front of her. Ali scanned the café and spotted the blonde girl and approached her.
"Emery, right?" Ali asked looking down at Emery.

Emery Was about half-way done with her chia tea latte when the door opened to reveal a pretty brunette. Of course she couldn't be sure but this seemed like it could be Alejandra. Smiling Emery took another sip from her cup. She quickly glanced to her screen and closed her current editing project. She wouldn't want to be working as she talked anyway.
Emery right? The words slipped through the girl's mouth. Instantly Emery lifted her head with a small smile. "Right, I guess that makes you Ali." Still smiling Emery motioned for Ali to take a seat. Ali was far more pretty in person then Emery could have thought, and her eyes were just like electric blue. Emery then decided Ali needed to be on the cover of something asap.
