Hadley gratefully sipped her cappuccino, staring off into the space while her fingers traced a pattern on the table. One of the drawbacks of getting up so early was that you couldn't really talk to anyone, and Hadley doubted that the old lady sitting in the corner would be very happy if Hadley just decided to wander over and initiate a conversation with her. Sighing, she inspected her chipped green nail polish, thinking that she'd have to ask Delia to help her redo them later as she wasn't allowed to since the incident where she'd gotten more nail polish on her face than nails and only afterwards figured that she had nothing to remove it with. Hadley started to fidget, rocking backwards and forth on her chair, only stopping when she noticed the glares she was getting from the old men sitting in the corner, grumbling something about kids misbehaving.
Laughing softly to herself, although it wasn't very funny with nobody to laugh with, Hadley squirmed in her seat in a futile attempt to get comfortable. Glancing at the newspaper on the chair next to her, and debating whether she wanted to read it or not, she was suddenly overcome by the feeling she was being watched. Slowly turning around in her chair, Hadley noticed that the person who had at first been reading a magazine when she came in had now resumed their place at the table behind hers, their magazine obscuring their face. Shrugging, she decided that going over and introducing herself would be the lesser of two evils, the other being having to sit here by herself until she finished her drink.
Slowly getting up from her seat, she grabbed the cup, almost dropping it when she realized how hot it was. d**n faulty cardboard drink sleeves. Making sure that the napkins she had now folded around the cup were enough to keep the heat at bay for the moment she would need to cross the gap between tables, she slowly walked over, balancing her coffee and trying not to burn herself. Placing the cup down on the table, and smiling, Hadley looked up, expecting to see an unfamiliar face.
Staring wide eyed in surprise, it took Hadley a minute to register that she probably looked like an idiot. So, in an attempt to divert attention from her wide opened mouth and probably searing red cheeks, Hadley emitted a "Scotty!" and pounced on her poor friend, the force of her hug moving the chair back a few inches. Slowly standing up and fixing her jumper, Hadley smiled at her friend, trying to ignore the looks her sudden outburst had gotten her. Sliding in to the seat opposite him, Hadley couldn't wipe the smile off her face, nor the blush off her cheeks. "How are you?" she said softly, Suddenly feeling a bit uneasy. What the hell was that? You don't just jump friends like that for hugs! He'll find out, He's going to find out!
Trying to stop the thoughts racing through her head, Hadley toyed with her cup, unsure of what to say next.

personality:
Holiday isn't what you'd call a 'social butterfly.' Probably the quietest out of the band, she prefers to sit by herself and write songs rather than go out partying with everyone else on tour. Very much a reserved girl, Holiday is polite, almost to a fault. She is incredibly gullible, and will believe almost anything. She's also prone to accepting dares, resulting in some interesting situations. She doesn't make friends very easily, but once she does, you're friends for life. She's fiercely loyal, and will do anything to protect those she loves. In saying that, once Holiday has made an enemy, she almost always holds her grudge for life.
She has a few annoying habits, one of them being that she blushed uncontrollably when a member of the opposite sex is near her. She'll also chew on her lip when she's nervous. Usually laid back, Holiday is a fairly easy-going person, and can be trusted to hold a secret if needed to. She's always one to listen when other people have problems, and she tries to help the best she can. A bit of a perfectionist at times, Holiday can tend to bug people with her need for everything to be perfect and exact. A hopeless romantic, Holiday has fallen for her fair share of guys in the past. Generally, the relationships haven't lasted long though, as she puts her music way before any thought of boys.
Holiday rarely opens up to anyone, but that's not to say she's completely void of friends. Once she likes a person, she'll go out of her way to be nice to them, Almost to the point that it's annoying. She'll open up to you if she thinks you're trustworthy, but otherwise you'll usually recieve a simple one word answer, or, if you're lucky a short sentance, void of any emotion. That's not to say that Holiday's unfeeling, she simply doesn't like to voice her emotions, preffering to keep them all bottled inside. and it's safe to say that probably isn't the best habit.

history:
Holiday was born to Alfred and Lynette Harper on October 11th. She grew up on a farm in Dublin, loving the clean air and the small community. When Holiday was two, Her little brother Bentley was born. Holiday's parents were often out at business meetings, leaving her to wander around the small country town, often stopping at the small park near the Town Square.
Bentley and Holiday grew up into 'fine young adults' while their parents were still out working, and when Holiday was thirteen, she decided to join school choir, having too much time on her hands. She immediately loved it, deciding it was something she wanted to continue. After taking choir for a few years, one of her friends introduced her to the piano, and she found to her delight that she was a natural at it.
Meeting some people around her town who were also interested in music, Holiday started to play with her new found friends and it's probably safe to say her parents weren't ecstatic about it. Finally calling themselves a 'band,' and deciding on a name. They sent off an application to go on a music festival tour, hoping, but not thinking that they had a chance.
Ecstatic when they found out that they had been accepted, Holiday rushed off to tell her parents the good news. Many fights ensued, leaving Holiday both drained and angry. Finally giving her parents the ultimatum 'let me go or I'll go myself' Holiday's parents grudgingly accepted. There's still some bitterness between the daughter and her parents, but Holiday's made a deal with herself that she won't think about them until the time comes for her to go back home.
