They say they don't like to commit to a person because they are afraid they will get hurt; Tally isn't just scared, she's petrified. She can't stand the fact that most guys just stay with you to get in you pants. So why not just give them that without having to go through the heartbreak ? Sex is sort of like a release for her, too.

You've heard about how Tally is immature. Yes and no. Sure, she has that immature type of fun but she has her adult type of fun, too. A bad habit she has is smoking. Yes, smoking is bad. Woo, have a cow. However, she does not do any type of drug(s). So, maybe she could just enjoy one little, cancer filled thing in her lifetime ? She actually hates other people smoking. Which is one reason that tells you what I said before, she's complicated.

OK, so maybe the smoking isn't that bad. But she has a drinking problem, too. So go ahead and shout at her all you want. But alcohol is another release for her, a sort of an escape from her already immature, messed up life.

Underneath all of Tally's cocky, bitch like, immature layers of personality is a really scared person. Not just with commitment, but with life overall. She's actually pretty fragile, even though she doesn't appear to be. Words hurt her more than anything else because on the inside, what people really think of her does matter. Not the stupid kindergarten "you're ugly" kind of stuff, but the really important, personal things. Like what her mother says, for instance. She tries her hardest to be accepted by the woman but her mother puts her down about anything and everything. She also tries to not care but her mind will keep telling her "you do care Tally, you really do."

The whole "forget and forgive" thing is a bunch of bull shit to her. You mess up, that's just too bad. Forgiving really isn't her forte.[/ul][/size]
