` don't waste your time on me, It was one of the few days off that Jumping Ambulances had. Jace, unlike some of his other friends, had decided to head to the park and enjoy the peace and quiet compared to the loud thumping of the concerts they preformed, and sat through. So, after showering, and getting dressed, he headed straight there. Of course, he had made sure to leave a note in the caravan, just in case anyone needed to find him. He highly doubted it though.
At first, he walked slowly through the park, looking up at the trees, and the patterns that were formed when the sun shone through them. Then, he began to speed up. A bench near the walkway had become free and the boy wanted to make sure to seize it before any other passerby could. A smile spread on his lips, realizing it was his. Jace sat in the seat, and allowed his hands to fall on his lap, which was covered by his typical pair of too low skinny jeans, showing off the gray boxers he wore. A darker shade of gray colored the v-neck t-shirt he wore over his chest. But, for once, his typical gray hat was nowhere to be seen, instead opting to let the wind through his hair.
Jace's foot tapped as he sat in the seat, something that was all to common for him as a drummer; he nearly always had a beat in his head to tap out. Of course, his hands stayed stationary as he looked around the park, a nice one, for a town this large. His eyes slid closed without thinking, and both of his--typical--Nike Dunk covered feet started tapping.
Oh, how he loved restful days.
Of course, he did want comany, particularly that of the only girl in the band, Eisley Daniels. How she managed to deal with all of the guys in the band was beyond him, but he had to admit, he did admire her for it. Of course, with their secretive dating, there hadn't been much room for them to get too close when surrounded by said guys in the band. Plus, Jace still needed to ask Eisley how her brother, Robbie, might react if he ever found out their secret.

calendar girl who's in love with the world,, She had to get out. She was going to be honest: the caravan was suffocating after spending more than twenty-four hours in it. She felt like a caged animal, clawing to escape. The small space, the amount of people. She much preferred being outside, basking in the glowing sun, than inside being glowed on by a flickering fluorescent lightbulb that barely lit her book. And don’t get her wrong, she loved the guys to death, but a girl could only take so much. Sure she was more like one of the guys than her own sex about 99% of the time, however, she just needed some of her own time to just think without having everything turned into either a sex joke or a 'your face' joke. Really, she could only handle so much. Boys were loud, smelly, rambunctious, and temperamental. Sometimes. She was being a bit on the dramatic side, of course, but Eisley was always a theatrical one, just like her brother.
Besides, this wasn't an excuse for her to catch up with a Mr. Jace Jacobs. No, of course not. She was simply going to get some fresh air, stop by the grocery store since the caravan was conveniently out of her favorite green tea. No, she hadn't seen the note that Jace had left for the group to see. Nope. Well, who was she kidding, yes. The girl was good at hiding things, in fact, one might even consider her a pro. Secrets from parents, siblings, friends. It wasn't like it was hard. It was a bad habit though, to that fact she wasn't going to lie. It was much easier though. No prodding siblings asking why she was going to the park when she could stay in the caravan with fabulous him.
Technically though, she hadn't lied. She really had dropped by the grocery store. Sometime after leaving the caravan and heading towards the park, she had stopped by a little convenient store on her way to town park and purchased a liter bottle of tea. Ah, it was refreshing.
And that was how Eisley Daniels found herself in her current possition: jug of tea in one hand, and sandals in the other. She was walking barefoot towards the park. But who could blame her, her shoes had been killing her. Terrible choice of shoes for taking a walk. She looked like a homeless child, or a crazy fan girl, either one would work. Wild chestnut brown locks sticking every which way, barefoot, trinkets and braclets jingling from her arms, and ridiculously torn and old jeans and shirt. It was interesting sight to behold.
Walking leisurely, she sighed in relief as she finally reached the secluded park. She had made it to the green oasis amongst a sea of skyscrapers, gray buildings, yellow taxis, and flashing lights. A bright smile flickered across her face as soft hazel eyes devoured the image before her: the mammoth old trees, the water fountains, the park benches, and the people littered throughout. The weather was lovely; the sky was blue, the clouds a delicate white and the sun a warm yellow.
Another thing she hadn't lied about. She really had gone out to get some fresh air. It was an innocent little why lie. In fact, it wasn't really lying if you thought about it. She had just left out the whole, going to meet Jace at the park thing. Obviously, the girl was trying ardently to quench her conscious.
However, all thoughts about lying to her band mates flew out the window as she spotted Jace himself, sitting on a park bench some ways of. Toffee-colored eyes had almost missed him without the hat, but with hair look that, well, he still wasn't forgettable. Hat or no hat.
Smiling broadly, the girl quietly walked up from behind, ready to surprise him. She just couldn't resist. He had set himself up, and the girl loved surprises. It was a deadly combination.
Suddenly, out of no where, she wrapped her arms around him, hugging him from behind with her items still in hand. Her surprise would have been a lot more suspenseful if she hadn't spoken immediately afterwards, but the girl didn't always plan things through.
"Oh wow, Jace. Fancy seeing you here. I had absolutely no idea," she stated in that soft voice of hers with a tinge of teasing mixed in. She couldn't help it as that crooked grin found its way across her peach-colored lips.
It was a not so restful greeting, but hopefully, he wouldn't mind. At least not too much.
