The caravan was small, and honestly, Jace hated it. He wished that they could have an intricate tour bus, with beds for each person, and the band's name painted on the side. He could see it now. Jumping Ambulances in bright green, or pink even. Of course, that was just his vision. It was only a hope that such a thing would happen.

For now, though, Jace sat in the furthest back seat he could in the caravan, the light above him illuminating the Nike Dunks on his feet, and the drumsticks that were occasionally tapping against them. For once, his skinny jeans weren't on him, instead, he wore basketball shorts that were too low on him, showing off his boxers, and a plain white t-shirt. A grey cap covered over his hair, and really, he needed a shave badly. Scruff was already popping up on his chin and cheeks. Now, on the boy's lap sat an open composition book, full of crossed out pieces of words, and little drawings. Jace was trying to write a song, thus far, unsuccessfully. Of course.

"Forgive me I'm trying to find..." he sang out loud, voice barely above a whisper. Jace wasn't much of a singer, which is why he stuck to drums. "This is hopeless." he muttered, head shaking, as he allowed it to fall backwards against the seat. His legs stretched out in front of himself, and his eyes closed. Jace enjoyed the peace.

"...my calling, i'm calling at night..." he muttered again, another part of the song he was attempting to write, for someone he knew. When was the band supposed to go on stage again tomorrow? He couldn't even remember. Once again, he was feeling the after effects of a night of drinking. No longer drunk, just stuck with a sick headache, the boy sighed.

Speaking of the band...where were they?

Jace's head raised momentarily to contemplate that thought. Probably a party or something. But then, why wouldn't he go? 'You'd end up spending a night in jail, thats why.' he thought to himself. A low, gruff laugh echoed from his lips, and he laid his head back down.
