Amy was craving a smoothie. She loved smoothies, and whoever didnt love smoothies was pretty crazy in her opinion. She walked there, because for one, it was pretty close by, and for two, walking was good for you. So there. She loved the smoothie bar, just because it was so awesome. So, sitting down to order herself a strawberry mango smoothie, she swivelled around on her chair, looking around while brushing her hair out of her face.
The guy behind the counter handed her the plastic cup with the awesome little straw. Amy grinned and thanked him, handing over her money before taking a sip of the sweet concoction. See, who needed alcohol when there were still smoothies in the world. Not that Amy didnt enjoy alcohol occasionally. But being addicted to it was kind of stupid. Way to ruin your own life.
Amy was really loving the festival. It was so much fun, even if they were staying in one place, it was awesome. She loved meeting fans, performing, talking to new people and just being surrounded by friends twenty four seven. unfortunately none of those friends had been free or awake that morning so she'd gotten a smoothie on her own. She did like to be alone on occasion but not too much or she got really lonely.

tight black pants exotic ! oh god, would nathan die for a quick watermelon smoothie at that time of day. it was way hot although it looked like it was supposedly going to be rainy (the trusted weatherman said so, and he bet it would. hoped it would.) he wanted to feel a fresh cooling liquidy taste slushing in his mouth, rolling in the depths of his no longer cavity-filled teeth. he just wanted a smoothie bad. real bad. really, he just wanted something that would kill the heat waves that were making the sides of his head sweat like there was no tomorrow. it was disturbingly annoying and he hated it whenever that would happen. he had nowhere to wipe his head on. he couldn't let the shoulders of his pale yellow shirt to be wet like that. it would look unhygienic. like him himself.
as he entered the small building, the little shop that contained a cool breezes and endlessly freezing air conditioning, nathan shivered and heard a great splash behind him as he closed the door. the next thing he knew, he turned around and saw that a great big, hot storm was coming for him. nathan grinned mirthlessly; he liked the rain. but quite odd since it was hot. nathan grinned again as he saw a friend of his; amethyst hartlet. he wasn't sure if he should come up to her; after all, she was from scheduled nurse. he frowned at the thought of the rivalry; it had nothing to do with him, really. he's just in the band, and unfortunately, the two bands were fighting. nathan shrugged out of it for a while and came up to her, hugging her from the back and poking her shoulder wildly "AMY!"

Amethystjumped, nearly to the point of falling off the little swivel chair as someone hugged her from behind and proceeded to poke her to death. With a squawk, realizing who it was, she laughed and turned around to hug him back. "NAT!" she returned the enthusiastic greeting. Despite the rivalry, Amy was pretty good friends with Nate. She wasn't exactly enemies with any of the band, except for Kat, for various reasons. Mostly because Kat was a slut and Amy really didn't like her. Plus, she had seen the gossip collumns saying Kat was with Milo which had made amy pretty much fall off the couch when she read that. Seriously. But other than that, the "rivalry" between the two bands, for amy at least, was just a friendly kind of rivalry. She wasn't capable of hating large amounts of people anyways.
"How are yooouu?" she asked grinning as she poked him back, laughing. Nate was so weird, and insanely adorable. How could anyone possibly hate him? Amy had no idea. maybe it was just beacuse she was a girl but thats beside the point.

tight black pants exotic ! nathan was laughing his head off, hating getting poked back. it tickled. it really did. "noooo, amyyy. stop thattt!" he wriggled as he was chuckling taking a few step back and gracefully landed on the seat in front of her. sometimes he was exactly like a girl. it scared him a bit, but really, that was something that was obvious. sometimes he thought he would become transsexual. he never actually cared much about people like that. why start now? "eh. i'm fine. pretty much bored. with life. besides. i'm just trying to fix my guitar. it's messed up, but i'm to lazy to fix it. anyways, the next show we're going to have is like, what? tomorrow's tomorrow's tomorrow? i have no idea." he smiled at her, slipping away from his seat and ordering a watermelon shake, at the same time, getting it back in a matter of two minutes.
as he got back to the table, he lay his head on his hands, which were on top on the table. nate was spinning the watermelon-y taste around his tongue, using it to freeze his teeth off by laying it on them. a head rush went into his brain and he blinked. after all that jazz, he leaned back on his chair and grinned at amy. "how's life for you then? haven't talked to you for a long time now, hmm?" he just kept on swiveling his weird straw thing around the smoothie he got. the head rush was still there and felt almost like alcohol. he shrugged away the feeling and stared outside. "keep your voice down ... there must be those weird gossips that'll think that our bands had a truce of some sort." he laughed yet again, putting on a pair of turquoise rimmed sunglasses, just to hide a bit part of his identity. he was weird, after all.

Amy finally relented and stopped poking him. "Aw, I'm sorry about your guitar," She said sympathetically. "Dont you have a guitar tech person who can help you out?" she asked curiously before sipping her sweet concoction once more. She always drank it a little slow and let it melt first before swallowing, she hated brain freeze - it was the most bizarre feeling ever and rather uncomfortable.
"Life is okay," She smiled slightly, shrugging. Amy didn't like to acknowledge periods of time when she was not her happy optimistic self but it was creeping up on her again. So much stuff was piling up, Amy felt like she was drowning. On top of that, she was getting these weird feelings of total loneliness, even when she was surrounded by people. She'd never felt that kind of thing before and it really freaked her out. Amy laughed though, at his comment about the gossipers. "No, you've got it all wrong," She grinned. "They'll think we're dating behind everyones back or something," She smirked, rolling her eyes. "We should cause a scene just to confuse everybody," As she joked around, she couldnt help but think of Milo and Kat. Supposedly, they were together - according the gossip collumns. Who knew what truth lay behind that though? Amy really didnt know how to ask him. Usually Milo told her these things but he was just keeping it to himself and she didn't know how to ask him. She really didn't like Kat at all but still... maybe Amy was just blowing it out of proportion or something. And she knew she was jealous. Anybody who was with Milo was lucky.

tight black pants exotic ! raising his eyebrows and laughing, nathan nodded. "yeah, yeah, uhh, i forgot about that. yeah uhh, i'll ask dolly to fix it later. i'm a stupid ass, sorry." he was still laughing, but mentioning dolly made his heart cringe. he gave himself a brain freeze, letting the coldness shoot up towards his brain. he didn't even show any emotion other than happiness or frustration anymore, not even hurt when the ice felt like it kicked his skull. letting himself breathe, he put down the glass and puckered his lips, looking at the window again for a vanity check. his lips were utterly red. he bit on them, making them bleed a bit. he liked his lips like that, not caring about the people around him that were pointing and going "what a weird kid".
"darn you, amy. you've got a scandalous mind there." nathan laughed for the thousandth time. amy looked frustrated too to nathan, and it was saddening. he didn't know why the hell it is that, though, and he didn't want to know. sipping once again, letting his mind go on a joy ride, nate shook his head and smiled. "that might be a good idea, but do we really want our bands to know we're friends? it'll be all over the tabloids; people would go overboard and sell this stuff just for money, you know." it was true; he's seen it before. he's read that blog of that hot music scene gossiper, known as roxanne, and it's bad, man. very bad. "buttttt, i'm up for it!" he jumped up and sat back down again, laughing heartily. fixing his glasses with a rather mischievous grin on his face, nate sipped his watermelon smoothie and gave himself the biggest brain freeze he's ever had in his entire life.
