Caiden has no confidence in his body what so ever. He’s on the verge of being too skinny, and he doesn’t like food, but he’s always forced to eat. Caiden doesn’t like to work out, because he really does hate to get sweaty and smelly, but he does do some push-ups once and a while. He plays guitar, which makes him have very visible vein filled arms, and he likes how they attract people. Caiden has awkward hip bones, they usually jet out, and make his pants hang lower than necessary, and he gets yelled at for not having his pants pulled up all the way. One thing Caiden wishes, was that his hipbones weren’t so screwed up. He has no body strength, which makes him weak and defenseless.

personality:
When you first meet Coady, you would realize that he doesn’t really look at you in the eye. He’s very, very shy upon first meeting and he’s very scared of people, so when he first meets someone he doesn’t look at them straight in the eye because they might notice he’s sick or they just won’t like him and he’ll have to watch them walk away. Coady’s voice is somewhat deep, and quiet because he doesn’t like loud things, and he hates when people scream in his ear just to talk to him, he isn’t dear he’ll understand if you talk quietly. He is a very soft-spoken man, and his voice shows that he really cares and that he uses the manners he was taught to use. After a while and pushing Coady out of his shell, he’ll become a bit more louder and care free. He won’t take it over the top and scream in your ear constantly, but he will be louder and his voice won’t be as soft as before. He doesn’t trust very easily, and he doesn’t like getting mixed up with the people he was mixed up with before, because they just led to more problems. Coady really likes anyone that would big him a hello, and once you show him you like him, he’ll become a better friend than he already is. He has some problems, but he doesn’t like to bring that into conversation, so he’s usually happy and hopefully he’ll make you smile.
Coady is a very caring type of person. He doesn’t think that nobody deserves to be upset, especially over stupid reasons, so when someone is upset first he’ll ask why they are upset, and then he’ll find a way to make them smile. He likes to help people feel good about them, because he doesn’t like when people feel like they’re horrible in every shape or form. Coady will actually sit down and pay attention to the problems someone has, and tries his best to give his own opinion on what is right and what is wrong. He’s actually very bad at giving advice, because he can’t even believe himself about what he has to say to that someone. Coady has a very big heart, and he likes to take care of everything that someone might have a problem in. He might not want to open up and tell you his own problems right away, because he is a very private person but if you ask he can talk for just a second he’ll spring into action and ask what’s wrong. He is a very loyal and trustworthy friend.
As well as being shy and caring he is also a very happy fellow. With all the bad in his life, Coady likes to look at the cup half full at times that are desperately needed for it. He likes to make people around him smile and laugh, just so he can get happier, because everyone is happy around him. He doesn’t like to show the emotion of sadness, so he pulls a smile through anytime that is given. He makes people feel good, and he turns into a big goof ball when that happens. When you get past his shy shell and his awkward way of greeting someone you’ll see that he actually does act like a human being. He’s the kid who comes up to you every morning and says good morning, even if you’ve talked to him once. He’s the kid who won’t talk to you if you don’t want him to, but when you want to talk to him he’ll give you a nice smile and pat the seat he’s sitting on and he’ll share it with you. He likes to get close with his friends, because he likes to make them feel like they’re really going to have a nice conversation with him, which probably happen. He always giggles and tells you jokes, and makes you smile because of how much of an idiot he’s acting, and when you get outside he’ll hook arms with you and swing you around and skip till you can’t anymore. You don’t expect it from Coady, but it happens, no matter what he’ll make you smile.
Coady is an awfully upset kid deep down behind his happy exterior. He’s always bringing himself down, because he knows that people are going to do it to him when he’s older, and he hates thinking of someone beating him up because of something like that. He isn’t a confident person and he doesn’t believe he’ll get anywhere in life because he can’t talk normally, or he can’t put a smile on your face. He gets awfully uncomfortable and feels sick to his stomach once he is with people he doesn’t know, if it’s over the Internet it’s fine he doesn’t care. If it’s in real life he doesn’t want to make the wrong impression and you’ll want to kill him the next time you come around and you see him somewhere. Coady likes to stay home and do his homework a lot, or he’ll go outside with someone he knows very well, but he won’t ever been seen with someone he hasn’t meet at least three times in a big group of people. It just makes him sick to his stomach and nervous and he sometimes throws up because he gets so nervous. He goes to shows, and he likes shows because he’s usually around the bands he likes and he stays in the very back where there is a bunch of people who won’t talk to him, but listen to the music. Local shows are his escape sometimes, and if he brings a girlfriend or a boyfriend with him they’ll cuddle in the back of the show.
Coady is a very sensitive boy and he gets extremely hurt, and usually it’s because of something stupid. He doesn’t take being hurt quickly well and he doesn’t take it easily, and it takes him months and months to get over what happened. Since he usually doesn’t talk and he’s very shy when he’s upset he spends most of his time thinking about how much they hurt his feelings, and then he’ll feel like a big baby and try to toughen up but nothing will work. He doesn’t like to get into really serious relationships, because he knows that when they break up with him he won’t ever get over it, and he’ll just be a sad little kid who’s probably going to kill himself. He never ever wants that to happen, especially to someone close to him.
Also, being very sensitive and sad Coady is also a very angry man as well. He is set off quite easily, but he always has to hide it because he doesn’t want anyone to know him as the angry boy who has nothing better to, but be angry. Everything sometimes and somehow will set him off, it’s just that everything that has happened in his life never made him angry until he left home. It’s like that saying, ‘you never know what you have till it’s gone.’ Well Coady never knew he had been so angry until he left the place that has made him so ballistic. He takes pills for the problems he has, and for anger he has one of those stress ball, and he’s probably had five more, but who’s counting? He hates to be angry, and when he is, he usually hides it because he doesn’t want people to back away from him and give him space, but sometimes he just really needs that space to help him sort out his problems.

history: Coady Roberts was never the boy he turned out to be that he was today. His parents were teenaged sweethearts, and fully in love and so much in love that they married right after they finished college. Now, every couple had their own problems, well about during the first year of marriage Harlon and Drella found out about cocaine. With all the pressure of a young couple, the only escape they did have, was cocaine. When they weren’t shooting up or snorting, they were actually a very romantic and dedicated couple. They always stayed in their hippie inspired apartment room, and just stayed with each other like nothing was wrong, but something was. One night with the influence of cocaine, they had actually had intercourse, now this was pretty much the first time they had done it, because they were too much drowned into cocaine to really get into each other. Only thing was that Harlon had actually gotten Drella pregnant. They didn’t bother quitting their cocaine addiction, and were turning their little unborn baby into a crack addict, not like they cared. Drella and Harlon didn’t even try to care for the child they were carrying, they didn’t eat healthy, she smoked occasionally, drank occasionally, and did cocaine every night for nine months.
Drella seemed to have forgotten the fact that she was actually pregnant, but once she sorted out four line of coke for Harlon and her, there was an outbreak of water and then she began getting contractions. Harlon and Drella rushed to the hospital, and Harlon asked what was going on with his wife, and the doctors answered simple that they were having a child. Harlon nearly passed out as this was said, and Drella was rushed to a delivery room and had to go through two days of labor before Coady was pushed out of the womb. Coady had to be rushed to be fixed up, his lungs weren’t fully developed, he was a cocaine addict, he had a very slim chance of living. Luckily by some miracle, Coady had survived through his three- month stay at the hospital, with his lungs developing and them weaning him off cocaine, and gaining a few pounds he grew into a healthy infant. His parents never came to see him through his treatment, and when he was finished and ready to go home, there was no one to pick him up. He was sent to the nearest orphanage possible.
Coady always grew up believing that the orphanage he was living in, was his family. He didn’t know he was a crack baby, and his parents never wanted him. He never cried at night, and wondered what made him such a horrible being that his parents just tossed him away. It never bothered him, because he was too small to know any better. When he was about six or seven years old, a couple at a young age of only in their twenties, but wanting another child. Stephanie and Marcus were a kind-hearted couple, two school teachers, who just wanted to have another child, but they had both found out they couldn’t have another after Natasha, their first child. The only choice was to adopt, and once they stepped into the orphanage their eyes laid on Coady. He was playing with one of the toy trucks in the corner, by himself, and they both went to the head of the orphanage and asked if they could adopt him.
After a about a week or so, Caiden was safely inside the Moore household, living like life was the greatest thing ever. He had his own bed, had his own family, had toys that he could play with, and a sister that adored him. Coady was enrolled into school right away, and since the school year had just started he was aquatinted with many students, and he had skipped kindergarten and went straight into first grade. He enjoyed school a lot, because it was new to him. He was used to waking up and just playing around because he was too young to go into any classes yet, and he was happy to be in a crowded place. He liked to interact with people, but he sometimes got into trouble with talking too much, and then he would be quiet until he was allowed to speak again. He also did well on his subjects and was one of the best readers and speller in his grade. While he was growing up, Coady had changed completely. He was more and more shy, and he couldn’t speak to someone when he met their eyes unless he knew them for more than three days.
Middle school was the biggest killer on Coady’s emotions. His parents pressured him to grow faith in God, but Coady never could really believe in God, but he never could believe in God, if he didn’t meet him properly. When he was about twelve years old, Caiden was sat down and told he was adopted, he cried at first because he didn’t know why his parents had been lying at him in the first place. The stress kept being piled on, because after that Coady was getting more and more symptoms of what would soon become Leukemia, he had to miss much of his sixth and seventh grade year because he was getting treatments to get rid of it, and still has to go to treatments as well. Coady grew very close to his sister and he was completely devastated when she killed herself. Natasha was only eighteen when she decided to take her life by taking down too many sleeping pills, and she died in her sleep because of an over dose. Coady took it the worse out of his whole entirely family; he took full blame because the sleeping pills were actually his. Coady had troubles falling asleep at night with all the pain he had to endure, so he was prescribed sleeping pills to ease him to sleep, and he forgot to keep them out of the reach of anyone, so no one could do anything bad with them. Of course Coady had to screw up and let his depressed sister take them and chugged them down like candy.
Coady began losing his taste and more and more frequently his taste just wasn’t there when he consumed the food he did. He stopped eating completely, and he was just fine not eating, but his teacher’s at school were concerned that he was getting all the food he wanted, he just said it was because of his sickness that he had, and he would leave and go to his next class. Also, ever since Natasha had chugged down those sleeping pills, Coady barely slept anymore. It would just haunt his thoughts seeing his sister he loved so much dead in her bed and hearing his mother sob at the sorrow and lost that rang through her chest. It was all too much for him, so he would just write in a journal about all the thoughts he had, and cut out pictures and everything that caught his interest and put it in that journal. He still does do that, but with a new journal since the other one was full.
