So, what would you say your favorite euphoria experience so far has been ?
there's so many! i mean, what can't be your favorite moment at this tour? to narrow it down, i must say actually getting closer with the band i do merch for. it's the fact that you have the sudden feeling that the band you work for is getting bigger and bigger each day. the only downside is getting tackled by fans because they want merch. i love being really good friends with the band, because you shouldn't distance yourself at all from your band, you need to get close with them and with this tour i felt like we did that. people think that merch and the band aren't friends at all, and i'm happy to prove them wrong, it does sound mean doesn't it? but i promise it's not.
Fair enough. So who would you say that you were closest to in the band?
that's actually really tough to answer. i have to say locky though, because we've known each other for twelve years and this tour just really brought us together. locky and i don't really see each other a lot, but you learn to deal with it, and because of his busy schedule and my own, we really spend that miniscule time we have together to the fullest. nothing romantic going on of course, he told me who really cares about, but i made him a pinky promise and i can't break those. also, because of our time we spend together i can probably mouth every line of the notebook and titanic, it's sad.
Oh, Sounds like a lot of fun! [laughs] So, out of all the other bands on tour, have you made many new friends, met any new people?
to be honest, i'm really shy and awkward. it makes it really difficult for me to make friends, so i pretty much play with my action figure that i took on the tour. most of the girls on this tour are in bands, and they usually don't acknowledge me, but it's fine. i would like to make more friends, my heart is big enough for friends, and i like hugs. i really like hugs, but i don't have any friends for hugs, so i hug myself. but i want to meet more people, so i'm not shy and awkward all the time.
Oh, Well I'm sure you'll meet some lovely people on Euphoria, I've had the pleasure of interviewing a few. Getting back on track, Do you have specific aims for the end of tour? Or are you more the type of person who just goes with the flow.
i don't have goals usually, i don't like sitting down and thinking of what i want at the end of this. i like to live in the moment, and right now my only goal is to actually make my relationship with someone public, because we both decided if we want to move on we should do it. i mean, it's been a goal to say that i'm actually in a relationship with alex weathers, i know i'm going to get killed, but i have those actions figures so they can be my body guards. now i need to think of another goal, maybe learn how to do the laundry. but i'm pretty much go with the flow, to be honest. [laughs]
Alex Weathers as in, the lead vocalist of scheduled nurse? Wow, didn't see that one coming! How long have you two been together?
yeah, we're actually together. we've been going out for half a year now actually, i know it might be a short time, but being on tour and people throwing themselves at him it's a pretty long time. it's kind of funny reading some stories people post on the internet about alex and i and people believe them. it's not awkward to being going out with him, because when i first met him i actually hated him, he would think he was the ruler of the world. then about a month or so later we were in a relationship, i let him fool around for the sake of this relationship staying a secret, but now he can't fool around or i'm hurting him. actually i'm probably going to get hate mail for this, but i live with it.
Aw, That sounds so cute! [laughs] Was there ever a time where you just wanted to give up? Life on tour can get pretty hard when you're dealing with a relationship as well as everything else.
it is sweet, he makes me pudding a lot, and he actually gave me a dinosaur ring from one of those toy machines that you put a quarter in. [laughs] i never really wanted to give up, sometimes i always thought of alex leaving me, it's just the fear that we both have. he thinks i'll leave him, i think he'll leave me, but so far we're just a happy couple. it is pretty hectic, especially when alex gets panties from some girls, or gets ask questions that shouldn't be asked, but at the end of the day we have alone time. we just talk about our days, we're not one of those couples that have sex every night, and i'm not answering if we have had sex. it's the fact that we both worry over each other that makes me not want to give up on these things.
Well, you're one lucky girl! Speaking of things that shouldn't be said, What do you think the craziest rumour you've heard on Euphoria is?
there's a lot of those [laughs]. it probably has to be that everyone in all our bands have orgies together, make chocolate chip cookies, and all the girls get pregnant and then get abortions the next day, and it's a cycle. i mean, i like the whole cookie part, because we do make chocolate chip cookies, but the whole orgy and group sex thing is kind of odd, because believe it or not a lot of people are virgins on this tour. i mean there's some whores on this tour, but they just get drunk and want some dick, so i don't know maybe they'd like the whole orgy thing. the funniest one i heard was that we were super heroes, i want to be a super hero.
Who would you say your role model is? Not necessarily on tour, just in general.
probably my mother. i mean, she died when i was about three or four, but she always had a smile on her face and she always had to deal with my dad's shit. i didn't know my mom, and i didn't know what her life was like, but she was always happy and that made me want to be happy. i've always wanted to be like my mom, so she's my role model. she always had a good time and a great feeling around her, and i'm happy to say that i'm getting there. i miss my mom.
Oh, I'm terribly sorry. Last question ! If I give you some awards, and you have to go hand them out to people, name who you'd choose. locky and alex, cause they deserve it the most [laughs]
