Since the very first time the oldest Grey offspring sang to his parents, both Nathaniel and Maria knew that the rest of the Grey clan were going to have fabulous voices. They weren’t wrong. Since the very first time Marco sang ‘Itsy Bitsy Spider’, Maria knew her son was going to be a shining star. Not only is Marco very talented when it comes to singing, he also has magic hands that help him play three different instruments and draw like a pro. His creativity doesn’t only stop on the musical and painting sections. Marco is well-known for being the fastest Grey child to think of excuses to get him out of trouble. The stories he comes out with are incredible and help him avoid being punished, not because his parents believed him, but because they couldn’t help but give him credit for his imagination.

Marco Grey was brought into the world to enjoy life to the fullest and be as happy as he could ever be. It’s rare the occasions when this boy is not smiling as big as he can. Marco’s creative mind and his love for fun things have taken him into very serious predicaments. Since the first time he tried putting his little finger inside an electric socket, Nathaniel Grey knew that his little son was going to always be in trouble. The man was right, Marco had been born to be wild. He doesn’t believe in impossible, and will try to prove it by doing whatever it comes to his mind. It has taken him to jail a couple of times, but he truly believes it’s all worth it, doing what he does for things he believes in is not wrong. But if society thinks it is, then he has to face the consequences of living in a world full of ignorant people.

Marco Grey was born on August 15, 1989, two years and seven months after his older brother Gabriel Grey. The family he was born into was a loving family, happy that there was another little boy they could call their own. However, Marco was always afraid. No one knew exactly what he was afraid about, but the small baby was constantly crying as loud as his small lungs could allow him to. It wasn’t until his two year old brother held his small hand and kissed his forehead, whispering that everything was alright that Marco stopped crying for good. Their mother was shocked, but she knew there was always going to be a special bond between the brothers. From that day forward, Gabe was always seen right next to his baby brother, helping him eat and making him laugh.

The oldest Grey child never really found his talent until he was a teenager. He did sang for Marco, though, singing him to sleep and while they were playing games or watching television. The only one that fully enjoyed Gabe’s singing talent was Marco, but that didn’t help Gabe much since little Marco couldn’t tell him he could be a great singer someday. It did help Marco as he took the role of being the older brother of a baby girl named Alicia when he was four years old. Gabe still sang for him, but Marco felt that it was his obligation to sing to the smaller Grey child. Besides, Gabe’s singing was only for him and he wasn’t going to share it with anybody else. The first real song he ever fully sang was ‘Itsy Bitsy Spider’, including the hand movements. For anybody else, a little boy singing such an easy song was nothing, but for Maria it meant the start of something great.

The first instrument Marco was introduced to was the piano. When Gabe had been born, the piano had been bought after Maria had seen it and had instantly fallen in love with it. Gabe hadn’t really paid any attention to it, having so many friends to play with around and Marco to watch over. But she was able to drag the middle child into music, and was going to make the time worthwhile. Marco wasn’t as hyperactive as Gabe and could easily pay attention to his mother’s fingers pressing the piano keys, making beautiful music emerge from the big old piano. After he was first introduced to the piano, Marco later decided to not only learn one but three different instruments, besides the singing that had first made him stand out.

At school, Marco wasn’t always the most loved classmate. There were bullies that loved torturing other kids. Although he wasn’t any different than other twelve year old boys, the bullies liked to hit him. It wasn’t until Gabe, age fourteen, stood up for his little brother that those kids stopped. Marco didn’t just look at his older brother like his best friend, he was now his hero and his role model. Batman could die if he wanted to, Gabe was now Marco’s favorite superhero. Once, Gabe told something to Marco that would chance the younger boy’s life forever. ‘Never let others do as they please. Fight for what you think it’s best and never apologize for fighting.’ Since that day, Marco decided to try and be like his favorite superhero. Too bad he took the words the wrong way.

Age sixteen, Marco Gray saw for the very first time a protest against the seal hunting. The images that were shown to him made him want to throw up. It was cruelty to the extreme. The protestants were college students, people that had already lived enough to know what was best for the world, but that didn’t stop Marco from joining them, taking the protests to an all new level. To him, it wasn’t just yelling and writing down the things they thought, action had to be taken too. He tried boycotts, preventing people from entering shops that sold animal fur, and even breaking windows to scare costumers. All of those actions took him to jail, where his superhero saved him once again. Never did his parents found out about it, but Gabe begged him to think before doing anything like that again. Marco promised him he would try, but that it wasn’t going to be easy. The actions stopped, and he decided to just go with the flow, also deciding that if he wanted to change the world he had to change himself first. That same year, Marco Gray decided to go vegetarian.

Katarina Peterson was a girl his age, and a very well-known prankster. He was seventeen, and the only thing he was thinking of, according to his mother, was girls. It wasn’t going to be admitted, but his mother was right. Katarina had caught his eye since the very first time he had realized who she was. Pranking the principal was something only someone that didn’t think about the risks could do. She was perfect for him. How they really got together was a mystery to Marco, but was thankful for it. they spent a year together, Gabe being around with his thoughts of forming a band and Marco knowing that Kat boo, his nickname for his girlfriend, was a great guitarist. They soon became friends, which brought a smile to Marco’s face. The girl of his dreams was accepted by his superhero, nothing could go wrong with that. However, his thoughts of the relationship weren’t the same ones Kat had. While he thought that they would be together forever, Kat wasn’t that sure. The day Marco decided to ask her to take things to the next level was the day everything ended. He doesn’t hold a grudge against her, and knows that she will someday find the right boy for her, or maybe come back with him. Either way, Marco will wait patiently for her or for his real love.

Euphoria Music Festival came as a shock for the eighteen year old boy. His brother’s band was going to be famous, but it meant the brothers would be separated. Marco understood it, it was all for the best. With a few smiles and lots of hugs, Gabe said goodbye to his family, having Marco promise him to graduate from high school without any more nights spent in jail. After graduation, the boy decided he didn’t want to be a lawyer like he had once told his proud father. Instead, he wanted to go into the music life just as a viewer for the moment. He needed to experience it and see if it was the best thing for him. With a crying mother and a not so happy father, Marco made his way to Euphoria Music Festival, excited to see the happy look on Gabe’s face and see Katarina again.
