The EMF's leading lothario Milo Martin may talk the talk, but when it comes to walking the walk, he's prefer to take it lying down.
It seems as if Martin has gained one more notch in his bedpost with yet another member of Sighted South - rhythm guitarist Katarina Peterson.
The pair was spotted at a Sacramento Starbuck's late one night, openly making out and heavily petting before they retreated to the bathroom together - where they remained behind the locked door for nearly an hour. One can only imagine what they were up to - that is, if you weren't there. Starbuck's manager Jaclyn Garcia knew exactly what was going on.
"I heard moaning," she reports. "If they weren't paying customers, I would have thrown them out. But they could have at least kept their voices down."
In the past, Martin has been romantically (or, should I say, sexually?) linked to two other members of Sighted South: drummer Katherine Rivera and lead singer Gabe Gray. In turn, Peterson as well has been linked to Scheduled Nurse members Locky Hartlet and Alex Weathers.
Has anyone ever heard the phrase "bombing for peace is like fucking for virginity"? If the members of Scheduled Nurse and Sighted South hate each other so much, why can't they keep out of each other's pants? It'll only make things worse between the two, rather than bring them together - if that is their ulterior motive (which is highly doubtful).
The EMF organizers have to admit that putting two feuding bands on tour with each other was a genius marketing ploy - people will buy tickets to the event just to see if ther's a chance the bands will have a throwdown.
I have to pity the four other bands on the tour - Across the Spoiled Sea, X-It Hollywood, the Shake It Ups and It's Raining In London. It seems as though Scheduled Nurse and Sighted South seem to be stealing the spotlight. Personally, I hope neither of those bands end up winning the Miscommunication Records contract - they seem to have enough on their plates already. Why add one more thing?
I can only say this: to the remaining members of Sighted South and Scheduled Nurse who haven't hooked up with one another - watch out for Martin and Peterson.
