The Euphoria Music Festival is now officially underway, and as the caravans head to California for one of the first legs of the tour, interesting things are bound happen among the bands. As a matter of fact, things are already happening.
Things? Oh, you know, things...friendship...fights...sex...
Oh, what was that? Yes, I said it. SEX. It's happening—and most notably with Milo Martin, lead guitar for New York’s Scheduled Nurse.
Martin, 21, has claimed that he wants nothing to do with the members of Sighted South, the Las Vegas band with whom Scheduled Nurse has had a bitter rivalry with. However, on more than one occasion, Martin has been spotted in the company of Sighted South members on more than one occasion. And when I say "company", I don't mean a book club.
In Phoenix, Arizona, Martin was spotted leaving a hotel, followed only seconds later by none other than Gabriel Gray—Sighted South’s lead singer. Eyewitnesses say that the boys were spotted the night before at a local nightclub. While Gray was solo, Martin was in the company of bandmate Locky Harlet.
The hotel manager confirmed that Gray checked into the hotel, but refused to comment further.
Their dissheveled appearences hinted at the fact that there might have been a little afterparty for two going on. Are Martin and Gray, the two band members who are foremost responsible for the feud between Sighted South and Scheduled Nurse, secret lovers after all? Read on...
On the shores of California, Martin was again seen in the arms of a Sighted South member, but not Gray—this time, drummer Katherine Rivera was his companion of choice. They were spotted shamelessly necking on the beach, not even trying to hide it at all.
“They seemed really intimate,” says another eyewitness. “They were touching and kissing, really close together.”
The question that really needs to be asked is, is the so-called bitter rivalry over, and it keeps coming up simply a media ploy, spun by publicists? Are Scheduled Nurse and Sighted South really friends after all? Or is Martin just sleeping his way through the caravans? Who can really be sure? All we know is, the girls (and guys?) of the other bands may have to watch out for Martin’s prowling ways.
