LE RULES

These rules are simple. Every site you go on will probably have these same rules. We are a laid back RP forum and are far away from being strict but that doesn't mean we let people slide all the time.

the site,

• Please respect the other members of this forum. That includes guests ! Do not, under any circumstances, be rude to guests ! It gives us a bad reputation.
  
  
• Be active. Try to log on three times a week. Thats all I ask ! Also, if you have posts, do not wait 10 days to reply. Try to reply within three days of the last post. It's rude and very annoying.
  
  
• Do not stretch the page. Keep your sig to a reasonable size. It really bugs me when I have to scroll over to see the rest of the post because the page was stretched. If you have a sig thats stretching the page, you will get a warning to either take it down or resize it. If you do not take it down or resize it an admin will remove it.
  
  
• No discrimination of any kind. You can have it in-character but OOC discrimination will not be tolerated. You will be banned without warning.
  
  
• The first part of the code-word is "apple"
  
  
• DO NOT PLAGIARIZE OR STEAL PEOPLES CHARACTERS OR BIOS. People, including myself, spend a long time on those bios and last names. It is really, really infuriating to see my character lolly dolling around on another site when I'm not the one playing them. I am sure everyone else agrees with me.
  
  
• Do not steal peoples graphics ! Along with bios, they take along time to make ! Ask first and if they say no, too bad.

• Please, no advertising. There is a separate board for that !
  
• Do not argue in the cbox. I don't care if you argue in a PM but it makes our site look bad if Bob is calling Mindy stupid :]
  
• Please keep conversations appropriate, and don't offend anyone.
  
• Guests are your friends ! If they have questions, help them ! Don't be mean to them.
  

roleplaying,

• This is a literate/semi advanced site, and there is a two-three paragraph minimum for your posts. LITERACY IS KEY !! It isn't really that hard people and one-liners are not acceptable. Writers block happens, so don't worry. If it becomes a habit you'll receive a warning but if it continues you will get a one day ban and it may result in an IP ban. I'm not really an admin that nags on but one-liners and short posts are annoying. When I say literate, I mean it. I do not want sloppy paragraphs, typos galore, or run on sentences. Come on, most of you are above fourteen ! If you don't know what a run on sentence is, please leave now. I can't stand them. Also, be sure you use comas. I LOVE COMAS. In the right place, mind you.
  
  
• All role-play is to be in third person. If you do not know what third person role playing is I suggest you look it up or something. Almost every RP out there is set in third person.
  
  
• SPELL CHECK IS YOUR FRIEND. One thing that is really, really, EXTREMELY annoying is when a person can't spell. Spell check helps your post look better and people will want to RP with you more. Another handy thing to do is to read over your posts after you are done.
  
  
• I would rather you not use bright colors. If the skin is white, do not use pink. If the skin is black don't use black or purple. You get my drift.
  
  
• Please use size 1 font when posting. It makes things look a hell of a lot neater. Kthnks.
  
  
• The second part of the code-word is "cider"
  
  
• When your character is talking, put quotations around it. Like this:
  
  BAD:
  Hello said Sue.
  
  GOOD:
  "Hello" said sue.
  
  
• Do not god-mod. If anyone is god-modding while you are RPing, PM and admin. Don't know what it is ? Pm me and I will tell you.
  
  
• Until you are accepted, don't post in any of the threads.
  
  
• Do not argue with staff when they are reviewing your application. They are trying to help ! Don't be a mean cow when they say a little more on personality or something.
  
  
• No chat speak is allowed. Or AnYtHiNg LiKe ThIs ! Or t@lk1ng lik3 thi5!
  

characters,

• Yes, we have cannons but it is ok to make an original character. But please make them realistic. Don't create like, Alex's son Fabio. It's sort of Gary-Stu/Mary-Sue'ish and its annoying.*****
  
  
• No Gary-Stu's or Mary-Sue's. No ones perfect. I'm not perfect your not perfect, even Miley Cyrus isn't perfect so bottom line, don't do it. If you don't know what I am talking about, it would be like this "Sasha has beautiful blonde hair that every guy loves. Everybody thinks she is pretty and is jealous of her, but they love her." See how that works ? And another thing, don't make them have an overly tragic history. "Her parents died in a crash crash so she attempted suicide but her long lost twin brother James rescued her. She then was raped and got pregnant." no thanks.
  
  
• Please try and register as your characters first or last name. It makes everything so much neater and tidy. Just no numbers please. g5inny348 won't work but ginny will.
  
  
• Your character must have a celebrity. No anime please ! If you need help with a signature, PM me and I will try to fix you up with one.
  
  
• In your display name please do not put weird signs in between the letters or anything. Just you characters first and last name will do.
  
  
• After you are accepted you NEED to go to the face claims thread.
  

*** Do not, under any circumstances, create a character with a cannon last name if they are not a cannon. PM the Admin [me] with a good history as to why this charrie is related and they will look it over. Do not whine if I say no [which I probably will].
