From the nightclub to their destination of food, Jordyn was still seemingly flirting with Angel; a kiss on the cheek, a hit from her cigarette - quite the normality, actually. Angel took it with stride, and could see no harm in these small, flirtful gestures. Compared to other encounters, he had witnessed more harsh and trashy flirting. He still made sure to watch out for the girl, though - he had no intentions of sleeping with anyone tonight.
He wasn't sure as of why the girl wanted to be with him so; for food, for kicks... a sexual binge? There were too many possibilities to the matter, so he decided to put it behind him and focus on the now.
The now was something to eat for the both of them. He bet himself that he wasn't as nearly as hungry as she was, looking at her half-hidden, ravished state. He was merely looking for something to nibble at due to his high; hunger sometimes came in tow with getting lifted ... not that he cared.
After what seemed like only a short five- six minute walk, the parading lights and signs of the many whoring companies of Fast Food Lane, as Angel and a few of his friends called it, began to illuminate what was once dark. Angel smiled upon seeing the lights; so many of them at once...
He then lightly shook his head and looked down to the girl, then nodding toward the flood of lights. "Well, since I've tried 'em all and they all taste the same - pick our poison?", he suggested, cueing her that she had choice of where they would eat.
[[ooc - sorry it took SO long -.-]]

Jordyn walked with Angel by her side, general chatting just a little bit of this and that, but really nothing more than a little bit of small talk. She knew that most guys didn't ever want to talk about anything too heavy and with the amount of alcohol in her system, she didn't really feel the need to think of anything to say. Drinking took a way all of her inhibitions and she felt completely comfortable.
Most of the time, that is.
Angel made her nervous, nervous because she really didn't want to mess it up. And why? Usually, it didn't really matter if she bedded the guy she was with that night or not but with Angel, she still didn't want him to leave her. What was so special about him? Well, he was mysterious and didn't seem to want to give into her. Like she was nothing, not important. Why did Jordyn like that so much? Don't know, but she did.
As they got to the long stretch of brightly coloured signs advertising various forms of fat in different forms of food, he asked her where she wanted to go. She looked up and down the row of food joints and finally decided to go, "There." Pointing at a Pizza Pizza. She never really liked hamburgers or fast food and pizza was a little more manageable. Jordyn and Angel began walking to the door of the Pizza Pizza as the girl subtly slipped her small hand into his bigger one and smiled. His hand was warm and felt good against her chilled skin. It sent tingles up her arm.

Hearing Jordyn cue him in on where she wanted to eat, Angel followed the direction in which her finger pointed -ah, Pizza Pizza. This was, ironically, one of his favorite fast food places. Burger King and Micky D's just didn't get it for Angel - pizza was the posion, if not a restaraunt of a more fancied taste. But, he had that Brooklyn blood within him, so, you couldn't blame the kid for being instantly attracted to pizza, mainstream or homemade.
Angel chuckled, letting a smile bleed out onto his facials. "Damn - you know you are now my hero, right?", he said, still taking in all of the insane lights and different smells that seemed to be swirling around him; he felt as if he just snorted another five lines of crank. "Believe it or not, this is one of my favorite places that is actually fast food... all of that other junk just doesn't get it for me...", he commented. "If you really enjoy eating, check out some of the fine dinings in town - fuck, they're the best - you get what you pay for." He would have taken them to a better place to eat, if they were in better spirits, but he was on too good of a buzz to crave fine foods, and she didn't seem to be craving them, either.
With that, the duo started walking toward the place of choice, Jordyn placing her hand within Angel's. Angel looked down at their hands; hers was so small and cold compared to his, big and warm. He then looked to her face, to find her smiling. He returned the smile, letting go of her hand to open the door for her. As she went in, he followed behind, taking in the smells of the pizza shop. Sauces, spices, dough - the whole fucking shebang, and it smelt simply mindblowing - talk about a mindfuck, or whatever one of his cracked-out customers had told him of before.
"Now, if that don't make your mouth water...", he said, coming to stand beside her. "Wanna set near the back?"

Jordyn let him shake her off as he opened the door. With how high she was she could bounce back fairly easily and besides, he didn't seem like he was trying to send her any message about their relationship. Hell, even if he had been, Jordyn wouldn't have noticed. She was too engrossed with the beautiful smells of the food, but she did catch one thing.
"You're hero, huh? Well, that's nice. I've never been a hero before, and probably won't be but hey, it's nice to dream. I'll have a slice of peperoni, please," she finished turning to the guy standing behind the counter and smiled. She had been so hungry before but now that she was actually so close to the pizza, the smells had kind of satisfied her.
"The back sounds good," she said, raising her eyes to Angel. She looked at him thoughtfully trying to decide if he like her or not. It didn't matter really, she would hang on his any words anyways. She liked him that much.

Angel listened to Jordyn while she ordered her pizza; she went for a slice of pepperoni. "Just pepperoni? I expected something exotic for the likes of you... like mangos, or grilled chicken...", he said, smiling a bit. He was really suprised that she went for something so classic - he pictured her to go all out on toppings, but it went to show that he couldn't judge the girl by her cover.
She raised her sights to him, giving her approval on the idea of setting in the back. She looked upon him with an inquisitive look, as if she were in thought. Angel nodded slightly and then stepped up to the counter to order his share. "'Mmyeah - can I get a slice of that Brooklyn Specialty? And, add in a glass of Coke on that?", he asked the man behind the counter, who nodded and smiled, typing in their total. He then turned to Jordyn, nodding towards the man. "You want something to drink?", he asked her.
Angel reached in his pocket and pulled out his wallet, preparing to pay the man. As he awaited the total and Jordyn picked her drink of choice, he looked into the setting area, scanning it. A fat guy... a couple of wannabe badasses... it was mainly empty, which was a plus. He sighed, smirking at the badasses, who were momentarily taking in Angel and Jordyn, the newcomers to what seemed to be 'their' place. They clearly spoke in Italian tounges.
Just then, the man behind the counter began to screech in Italian at the trio of wannabes, shooing them into the kitchen of the shop. He smiled, returning. "My degenerate sons... gah, they will be the end of me..." Angel smiled, laughing a bit.

Jordyn went for Diet Coke, which in her opinion was a billion times better than the Classic stuff. The normal stuff had so much sugar that you could feel it in your mouth for hours after you drank it. She hated that feeling. As for the pizza. "I guess I'm a simple girl. Besides, since when can you put mangos on pizza?" she said with a smirk, looking at Angel. He was a fair bit taller than she was and she was going to have a sore neck at the end of the night, having to look up at him this much. But it wasn't a big deal, most guys were taller than she was.
Jordyn was surprised by the sudden outburst at the tree Italians but once she regained her composure, she laughed along with Angel at their surprised faces and hurried into the kitchen. Soon, their order was filled and on a tray was produced with two peices of the biggest, greasiest pizza ever. She let Angel grab the tray, and led him over to the table in the corner of the sitting area, away from everyone. As she sat down, and Angel too, she let her leg rest against his. Made her feel safe, like she knew he was there.

Upon getting the boys wrangled into the kitchen, and Jordyn picking out her drink, Angel paid the man and gave him a nod of thanks, taking their tray with the pizza and pops on it in hand. "I guess I'm a simple girl. Besides, since when can you put mangos on pizza?" Angel laughed a bit upon hearing her reply, not blaming her tone of voice being a bit wavered when it came to mangos on pizza. "Well, I guess I misjudged you, Jordyn... since... fuck, I dunno when but I know you can get 'em...NOT that I eat them on pizza...", he said, eyes widening at the thought of mangos, cooked, on pizza. His lip curled up slightly - NOT a pretty thought at all.
Jordyn picked a table near the very back, which was positioned away from the prying eyes of everyone - Angel wondered if some of the Euphoria bandies came back here to get away and chow on pizza.
They both sat down at the table, ready to devour their pizza. Angel felt Jordyn's leg press against his, resting itself there. Angel sighed lightly, relaxing into the quiet atmosphere, and picked up his coke, taking a sip of it. "Dig in", he said, picking up his pizza, still on the plate, and manuvering the plate within his hands so he could manage to even bite into the heaping slice of heaven.
"So -", he said, inbetween bites, "you live here? This town, I mean?"

Jordyn watched him ponder mangos on pizza, could practically see the thoughts forming behind his eyes and the disgust at the thought of limp, shriveled mangos showed on his face. She laughed a little bit, the way he always looked so sexy but showed a small hint of vulnerability. It was sweet, cute, and made her want him even more.
As Angel began to devour his pizza, Jordyn too took a bit of hers and let out a sigh of relief. The only thing that kept her going these past few days was the drugs and booze, and everyone knew that drinking on an empty stomach wasn't always the best thing. It felt good to have some actual nutrients through her system.
As she took a sip of her Coke to clear her mouth, she began to answer him. "Well, yes and no. I guess I live here for now, but I'm really just staying at the Motel 6 down the street. The owner likes me so he let's me stay there and give him money whenever I get it so I work at The Bar cleaning up other people's vomit during the day and then spending my nights at the club, blowing all my other money on booze and..." drugs. But she didn't know if she could really say that to him yet.
Though she would have to. She knew what the next question would be. How did a pretty young thing like her get out here in the real world? She'd answer. No point in lying and if she acted like it was nothing, it wouldn't hurt as much. She still always gave the bare bones of her story. Talking about it in depth usually sent her crying to the bathroom, and Jordyn didn't cry that easily.
"I'm originally from Chicago but when I was 14 got into drugs, then in and out of rehab three times and after the last time, when my parents found out I'd gotten into again, they kicked me out." Jordyn shrugged. There, it was out. He didn't have to ask now.
She took another bite of her pizza.

"Well, yes and no. I guess I live here for now, but I'm really just staying at the Motel 6 down the street. The owner likes me so he let's me stay there and give him money whenever I get it so I work at The Bar cleaning up other people's vomit during the day and then spending my nights at the club, blowing all my other money on booze and..."
Angel took a napkin from a dispenser on the table and wiped his mouth, looking at Jordyn, taking in her features as she talked, and suddenly paused. He could have finished her sentence for her - drugs. He was in the business long enough to know who was involved with what, and to know that drugs usually went hand-in-hand with booze. "Sounds like a lovely job... you think they'd have a girl like you tend to the bar, or waitress - god knows you'd make a lot of money for yourself and the establishment of choice - fuck, any guy would buy something from you!", he commented, smirking a bit. The Bar that she was working at had to be quite mediocre; to put someone like her on puke duty was irresponsible. Clearly, she could make money by making the useless bums that came into the place buy booze 'till it leeked from their noses. What a shame.
"I'm originally from Chicago but when I was 14 got into drugs, then in and out of rehab three times and after the last time, when my parents found out I'd gotten into again, they kicked me out." The girl shrugged and took another bite of her pizza. "Wow - that's pretty fuckin' rough. And here you are today, though - pretty as ever and seemingly going through life, taking things as they may go... don't you hate cliches?"
Angel took another drink from his coke, licking his lips. Jordyn came clean to him about her useage, but he wasn't sure if he could come clean with her just yet about his involvement with drugs. He refrained as he spoke. "I'm a stranger here, too - never came here until now... on business. I'm originally from Brooklyn... not too far from here, actually, but not in walking distance which bothers me, but..."
He paused, trying to find more words, avoiding the subject of drugs on his behalf, just yet. "...I was, and still am, quite the family man, but hey - I have Brooklyn blood running through my veins. It's natural, I guess... He took another drink. "If you don't mind my asking... have you talked to your parents since?"

Jordyn finished her pizza and sipped her Diet Coke, feeling the bubbles running down her throat and into her now full stomach. Oh to be full, almost as good as being high. But since she was both right now, she could tell which one felt better.
She listened as Angel spoke, now glad that they were sharing so many words. She liked to get to know people, to know them better and still she didn't have any very close friends here. That would had to change. She knew that there would come a point when she would be in trouble and she would need someone to go to.
But for now, she would talk. "They won't let me work at the bar. I'm only seventeen, remember? You need to legally be an adult to serve alcohol. It sucks but whatever..." She downed her Coke in another go and put it on the tray in front of her, leaning back in her chair, feeling satisfied.
At his other question, Jordyn looked away and shook her head. It was something she regretted, that she'd gotten kicked out in the first place. They had given up on her, given up on hope of saving her from herself. There had been a lot of tears before that happened but they hadn't been that sorry to through her out anyways. She came home one day late, to find her stuff packed and outside the front door. That was it. She hadn't spoken to them since then. She hopped on a bus and it took her here where she set herself up and tried not to think about the past.
"They don't want to talk to me. They threw me out and if they really wanted to find me, they would."

As Angel talked to her, Jordyn finished her pizza and worked on her diet coke. He could see the content look upon her face, signaling that she was obviously feeling way better than she did earlier, now having something in her stomach that it could digest. He smiled to himself, glad he was actually helping someone out for once, and not hindering them by giving them their fix, which would eventually kill them someday.
"They won't let me work at the bar. I'm only seventeen, remember? You need to legally be an adult to serve alcohol. It sucks but whatever..." She then downed her coke as one would down a shot, showing her resentment toward the fucked-up situation she was in with her lewd job. Angel shook his head, laughing a bit. "Yeah, yeah - I know that. Y' wanna know the sad thing, Jordyn? I bet half of the girls that waitress, bartend -whatever - are your age. Maybe, even younger... sixteen even?", he said, taking another drink. "That's the way society is now - fuck the standards when no one's looking. Perhaps, when they hired you, someone was looking... yet, if I were in your shoes, I'd be thankful that you didn't get hired if other girls that are underage did - god knows what fuckin' pervert of a boss you would have..."
Angel knew he was no samaritan, but he wasn't a pervert like some of the men he had encountered in his day."Oh well - is there anywhere else you could go to work a better job?", he asked, curious if she had any other places in mind.
Seeing her reaction to the question he asked about her parents, Angel suddenly felt like a jackass. "They don't want to talk to me. They threw me out and if they really wanted to find me, they would." "Damn - that's intense...", he said in a low-voice, nodding his head, finishing off his drink, setting the glass aside. "Y'know - I, uh, I'm sorry that I asked you that... it was none of my business..." He ran a hand through his hair, letting it rest upon his neck, rubbing it a bit.
He was really beginning to feel a connection with this girl; she reminded him so much of his sister, right before she died, and the changes she was going through. He cleared his throat, pushing a bit of pizza crust that was left from his slice out of his way and onto the tray. "I think... that your parents are stupid for not giving you a second chance...", he said, not sure on what words to say to her.

Jordyn laughed as she stood up and chucked the garbage off of the tray into the garbage and replacing the tray at the front counter, before coming back to where Angel was. "Well, I still have a pervert of a boss but whatever. The Bar's pretty much the only place that will take me, I mean, I have no qualifications, no references. I'm not exactly the perfect employee, you know..." Her boss now was pretty sleezy, had hit on her more than a few times, and when she rejected him, treated her like shit the rest of the time at The Bar. But the other staff were nice, gave her all the free booze she wanted.
Jordyn, lightly took Angel's hand a began to lead him towards the door. She wanted to move on with this, on to, well, whatever that would lead to. She could tell that Angel was becoming emotionally attatched to Jordyn, in a different sort of way. That was good, because she felt attatched to him already and she still knew nothing about him. But whatever if now, he was protective. He would never want to fuck her if he thought of her like a sister or best friend. That's not how Jordyn saw him, definately not. She wanted him in every single way.
With her hand in his, they stepped out of the Pizza Pizza and Jordyn turned to look at Angel. "My parents don't matter. But..." She reached up and gently kissed his lips. "You matter...." There was a bried pause but Jordyn moved in closer to him and licked her lips. "The Motel is just down the street. You must want to see where I live. We could... take a bath, you could stay over? It's gettig pretty late." She wasn't directly saying have sex. They didn't have to. She just didn't want him to go.
Most guys, Jordyn only used for their money. To get some food, drugs, anything. Angel had given her the food she needed, so why did she want to keep him around still. She didn't know for sure but things were just begining to get intresting.

Jordyn got up to go and throw away their trash from the tray, laughing as she went. Angel raised his brow, wondering what humored her. Upon returning, she explained."Well, I still have a pervert of a boss but whatever. The Bar's pretty much the only place that will take me, I mean, I have no qualifications, no references. I'm not exactly the perfect employee, you know..." Angel shrugged, nodding and shaking his head. It was sad, but true - she probably didn't have much of a resume, since she had no prior experience with any other careers. He also shook his head at the thought that, most likely, he probably knew her boss. Through what - drugs, of course.
Jordyn took Angel's hand within hers, lightly leading him to the exit of Pizza Pizza. On their way out, Angel waved a slight goodbye to the man who had taken their order, his sons smiling half-heartedly from the kitchen. Angel was suprised that he was letting this girl take the lead of him so much, but he felt different with her than he did with other girls; he felt that he was consorting with someone whom actually had a mind, unlike so many others.
Once they truly exited, Jordyn stopped and turned to look at Angel."My parents don't matter. But..." Contemplating the rest of her sentence, and not expecting it from her, Jordyn paused to briefly reach up and kiss Angel on the lips. "You matter...." Another pause persued, and Jordyn only moved in closer to Angel, licking her lips."The Motel is just down the street. You must want to see where I live. We could... take a bath, you could stay over? It's gettig pretty late."
Angel looked into her eyes, his brow slightly rising. "I can't believe I'm hearing these things coming from a seventeen year old mouth...", he said, bringing his hand up to lightly cup her cheek. "'I matter to you'... you barely even know me... and your so young...", he said, looking into her eyes, deeper. "... you sure you want me to come home with you?", he asked again.

Jordyn smiled. Angel hadn't exactly pulled away when she kissed him. That was a good sign indeed. He must like her a little bit to be this patient and calm with her. The man didn't really seem like the type to be messed with. Then again, Jordyn was trying to mess with anyone. She was just trying to be with him.
As she wiped a hand across her face, the young girl sighed. Her high was running dry and on any normal night, she would have gone home late to add more coke into her system and head right back out the door to work, with absolutely no sleep. It was that she didn't have time. The drug kept her awake, with not even the chance to fall asleep. But now, today, she wanted that possibility. She wouldn't be taken any more tonight. She'd save that till tomorrow.
At the sound of Angel's voice again, she tore her thoughts away from being high and turned her attention to him again. Why was he so caught up on her age? It meant nothing, especially in this kind of situation. Out here, in the city, she had just as many life lessons as the next girl. She knew how to handle herself, or so she thought.
"I may only be seventeen, but I know how to handle myself. I've been out her before, many times. You don't have to worry about taking advantage of me, I know what I'm doing." Sort of. She knew that she was trying to seduce Angel, in a sense. But he was right, she didn't know all about him... yet. That didn't matter to Jordyn. She lived for the here and now.
The young girl looked at him quite seriously. "Yes, I'm sure." There was no hint of doubting in her voice. This was what she wanted. "Come on, it's right over there," she said, pointing at a two story, white, dirty brick building two or three blocks away. "Come with me." And again, gently holding his hand, she began to walk in their direction.

"I may only be seventeen, but I know how to handle myself. I've been out her before, many times. You don't have to worry about taking advantage of me, I know what I'm doing." Angel argued lightly with himself inside his head, struggling to make a clear statement with himself, as his high's last remnants began to kick in. For the most part, he felt he could generally trust himself with Jordyn; but, that part of him still dwelled deep inside that called out for more of anything when around a female, and with Jordyn putting herself out there, it churned inside, obviously interested in where this was going. If Angel got another dosage in, believe it or not, he would be able to keep the beast at ease - eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth; addiction for attraction.
It also didn't help that Jordyn was in a situation so much like his sister; this caused him to want to protect her, for some odd reason.
"Come with me." Jordyn pointed in the direction of her hotel, ushering Angel along in that direction. Partly still caught up in thought, he let her take the lead once more. "Well - that's good that you have some experience under your belt for such a young age, but -" , he lightly squeezed her hand, "- someone your age shouldn't have to go through what you've been through... and, you deserve a better hand than God has dealt you."
It was the truth - she should've been living back home with her family; this was no place for a seventeen year old, such as Jordyn. Now, as they kept walking, Angel thought of how things would have been different for the girl if things went otherwise...
